ISITEEK - Just like real wood, only better
ISITEEK makes every deck look high-quality and elegant! This
synthetic DIY decking from ISITEEK matches real wood in both appearance and feel, if not surpassing it. The surface now features a coarser finish, which not only further enhances the already excellent
anti-slip properties but also brings the tactile experience even
closer to natural wood, giving the decking a more
vibrant, authentic appearance. In addition, ISITEEK decking is
highly resistant to UV exposure and weathering over the long term, as well as being
dirt-repellent. Easy maintenance is a key feature: thanks to its dirt-resistant surface,
stains and soiling can be easily washed off. Even mechanical damage or scratches can be removed locally if necessary by sanding with coarse sandpaper, following the grain. Unlike many other composite materials, the new generation of ISITEEK retains significantly less heat and
cools down more quickly, allowing the deck to be walked on barefoot at any time, without the risk of burns. In this respect, too, it matches the properties of real wood. The product, developed in England, is also
100% recyclable and has been specifically designed for DIY users, with prefabricated double strips, side borders, and “King Plank” elements featuring tongue-and-groove joints for easy installation. The long-lasting colour stability without fading guarantees lasting enjoyment of your new decking. The ISITEEK deck is also
sound- and heat-insulating and additionally
flame-retardant (tested
according to AS/NZS 3837). With a material thickness of
4 mm, the decking has a weight of
5,000 g/m² and is therefore also significantly
lighter than real wood. Many reasons why you can enhance your cockpit, platforms, or even entire decks yourself—easily and professionally—with durable and aesthetically appealing decking.
ISITEEK King Plank – Wide center plank in bleached teak look
Designed as a wide,
continuous plank without a joint line, the ISITEEK King Plank deliberately differs from traditional single and double strips with pre-integrated joints. Visually, the King Plank resembles a
large, solid teak board—typical for use as a
center plank in deck layouts. Thanks to its greater width and absence of joints, it offers the necessary flexibility in processing, making it
ideally suited for
edge work,
finishes, and other
custom deck layouts of all kinds. The bleached teak appearance ensures a bright, modern look and harmonises perfectly with other ISITEEK deck profiles.
Processing instructions
To bond the individual panels together, we recommend using
PVC adhesive. For bonding the decking to the deck surface, you can use
MS polymer adhesive Contact 12 from TIKAL. For jointing,
TSC joint compound from TIKAL is suitable. Spatulas and
pressure rollers are available as optional accessories.
