Product details

This KUS cooling water temperature gauge was specially designed for use on boats and is a reliable instrument for monitoring water temperature. The 52 mm display with a black dial shows temperatures in the range of 40 to 120 °C precisely and the resistance values are optimally matched to KUS temperature sensors with around 300 to 23 ohms. The stainless steel ring not only gives the gauge a high-quality appearance, but also ensures durability. The ring is permanently integrated and cannot be removed or replaced.

General features of the KUS SEA V series
The glass of the instruments is double-insullated, which provides excellent protection against fogging. Installation is extremely simple: the instrument is inserted from the front through the 85 mm drill hole and secured with a union nut from the rear. Supply power with the multi-plug. All instruments have backlighting. Options of red or yellow colour background light. The units are designed for 12 volt operation, but can also be operated in 24 volt systems by using a series resistor. Temperature range between approx. -40 C to +80 C.

THIS COMMENT IS VALID FOR ALL KUS PRODUCTS. I HAVE PURCHASED 12 OF KUS TOOLS. PERSONAL OPINIONS AND MY 2 EXCEPTIONAL MECHANICAL PRODUCTS, ARE ALREADY PREWIRED, EQUIPPED WITH A PIN WITH 5 CONTACTS, THE PIN IS INSERTED IN THE NICHE THAT EACH INSTRUMENT HAS AND THE INSTRUMENT IS ALREADY WORKING. CLEARLY THE FIVE WIRES PRESENT IN THE PIN CONNECT WITH THOSE THAT ENTER THE OLD INSTRUMENT AND IN A FEW MINUTES IT IS ALL WORKING. I ADD THAT HAVING THE DOUBLE POSSIBILITY OF INTERIOR LIGHTING, THE INDICATORS, THE FUEL AND WATER INDICATORS, I HAVE ILLUMINATED THEM WITH RED LIGHT, WHILE ALL THE OTHERS WITH YELLOW LIGHT. MY RATING HOWEVER IS NOT FOR 5 STARS, BUT FOR AN INFINITY OF STARS VIA LATTEA.
