This distress light complies with SOLAS regulations and provides a very bright SOLAS continuous light of at least 2 hours with a light intensity of at least 2 candela. Supplied complete with holder, battery and a 1 metre cord.
Attach the line to your lifebuoy or life ring. When the life-saving equipment is deployed, the emergency light is pulled out of the holder. The pull cord between the holder and the emergency light activates the switch on the emergency light, causing the emergency light to light up automatically. Once the light has been used, it must be considered used up and replaced with a new light. Drop tested to 76 m. Battery life: 5 years.
