A propeller for every situation.
The PROPULSE is an innovative variable pitch propeller made of modern composite material, manufactured in Sweden. With its 4-blade design and the ability to adjust the blade pitch, it is extremely versatile. By using selected materials and producing in high-pressure moulds, it offers optimal stability and a weight that is at least 40% lower than comparable aluminium propellers. In 2013, the performance of the propeller blades was further increased by an increased fiberglass content, making the blade material 30% harder and offering improved performance compared to previous models.
Overview of the advantages of the Propulse variable pitch propeller:
- 4-blade design for increased thrust and low-vibration operation
- Individual blades are easily replaceable if damaged
- In emergencies, you can continue driving with only 2 blades
- Adjustable pitch (7 different pitches per propeller) to adapt to the respective application, such as water skiing or fishing
- High-strength hi-tech composite material with high manufacturing quality
- Lower weight
- No risk of corrosion
- Left and right rotating propellers are available (for dual engine)
Adjustable pitch:
In just a few simple steps, you can adjust the pitch of the propeller and optimise your boat for different operating conditions, whether for water skiing or different loads. The Propulse offers seven different pitch angles for the propeller blades. The centre position is pressed directly onto the propeller blade. The pitch can be adjusted by 3" upwards (+) or 3" downwards (-) on a scale for all 4 blades simultaneously, even when mounted.
Exchangeable propeller blades:
Should anything go wrong, replacing a damaged propeller blade on the spot is straightforward, so you can continue your journey without any major disruption. The propeller blades can be replaced individually, which means that you need less space on board than for a complete spare propeller. If several blades need to be replaced, cost-effective sets with 4 blades are also available.
