top! After 3 years of daily use of this product, I am completely satisfied with it. The hose holds well and has good flexibility. The touch switch works very well with 5 positions: Off, low white, medium white, high white, and red. On my boat, I installed it at the entrance to the companionway to provide lighting both inside and out. No complaints. I also have a Hella Marine flexible light, which I am less satisfied with (more expensive, less functional, and uses more energy).

The reading light is now installed in my home, and I'm largely satisfied with it.

The operation by tapping the back works well.
The gooseneck is great, bends easily, and retains its shape!

Consensus
The red light is too dim, even for nighttime use.
The attachment to the base with just one screw is wobbly.

I printed a clamp to hold the gooseneck in place; otherwise, the lamp wobbles due to the weight in the base (ceiling mount).

I would buy it again.

It's good but

It's a good light. Easy to install, feels of good quality. But I specifically wanted a model with both warm white and red light. The warm white with dimmer is good but the red light is so faint that it is useless. Hence the 3 stars. I feel for the price, all features should work well.

Nice looking light with all the right features but a buzzing noise preventing use

Purchased and received two of these lights and they arrived quickly. However after installation it was discovered that they give off a noise that is very irritating resulting in us looking to source a different product. The noise is there when the light is off, when it is illuminated with any of the levels of white light but not when it is red. Not sure why this is but when we used the red mode they instead got rather hot so this is not a product that I can recommend.
