SIDE-POWER Bow Thruster Set SE20 / 25 kg thrust / 1.5 kW / 12 V

The SE20 Side-Power bow thruster set is the ideal solution for boat owners who want to improve their manoeuvring in tight harbours or difficult weather conditions. This compact bow thruster has been specially developed for smaller boats and enables precise steering movements by reducing the turning circle and facilitating lateral movements.

Delivery contents and installation
The set includes the Side-Power bow thruster SE20, a GRP tunnel measuring 110 mm in diameter and 750 mm in length, mounting material and a 7 metre long connection cable. Thanks to the well thought-out design and the pre-wired cable harnesses, installation is uncomplicated and can be realised even where space is limited in the bow area.

Technical data and performance
The SE2S0 bow thruster operates with a voltage of 12 volts and delivers an output of 1.5 kW. At a voltage of 10.5 V it generates a thrust of 20 kg, while at 12 V a thrust of 25 kg is achieved. With a weight of just 9.5 kg and an internal tunnel diameter of 110 mm, it is ideal for boats up to 7 metres in length.

Safety features and ease of use
Side-Power attaches great importance to safety and user-friendliness. The SE20 is equipped with the Intelligent Power Control (IPC) system, which permanently monitors the relay function and automatically stops the propeller in the event of a malfunction. In addition, the system has integrated thermal protection in the motor, automatic switch-off of the control system after use and a thrust reversal delay that protects the gearbox.

Efficient design and quiet operation
The single propeller design of the SE20 ensures high efficiency and enables easy installation, even in narrow bow sections. The 5-blade propeller with asymmetrical profile (Q-PROP) increases thrust by around 5% while reducing noise levels, which increases comfort on board.
