The valve housing is made out of fiberglass-reinforced nylon composite material, which withstands high pressure and has a long service life. The ball and bearing are composed out of PTFE-reinforced polymer plastic to ensure a smooth action and continuous ease of operation over many years. Frost-resistant. Available in different sizes.

I exchanged all ball valves and hull fittings for Trudesign ones. The whole series makes a very solid impression. I only used the available support collars where you could step on them in the worst case. Even without these collars, even the relatively small 34-inch variant only allows a certain amount of elastic movement when handled violently.
Before installation, check whether there is enough space, as the taps are more voluminous than those made of metal. For installation, we recommend, among other things, Sikaflex 291i for bonding the seal. Therefore install in winter storage at mild temperatures.
