The flexible alternative to fixed tanks! These lightweight, flexible but robust tanks are a reliable, practical and affordable solution for the storage of drinking water on board. These flexible tanks fit into smal spaces where rigid tanks don't find enough space.The Plastimo water tanks provide a water chamber made of food grade PVC and are surrounded on the outside with tear-resistant and hardwearing nylon fabric. The tanks are tasteless, odourless and food safe. Hose connections: 12 mm extractions / 38 mm filling.

According to experience, the tanks last about 2 years after that cracks can occur next to the weld seam. Because of the good connection system, I still stay with this product and change regularly.

Not recommended

Dear SVB, please take this botch out of the program! Our Dufour had these tanks from the factory, last fall, one leaked. I have two new built over the winter, very carefully with padding, taped hose clamps, etc., nowhere were there sharp edges. Nevertheless, one of the tanks after a (!) Starkwindkreuz has become leaky again. Without anything being worn through, it simply did not hold the welds from the inner bladder. We will probably have to convert this winter then forcibly on solid tanks. Although the tanks are cheap and that it does not require venting is very convenient, but they are definitely only suitable for inland sailors.

The tank has been installed for about a week. For me as a "crafty clumsy" it was a very easy assembly.
