The layout (dimensions) of the locking mechanism housing has changed compared to the previous models so that the snap action is no longer compatible. The previous models had a rectangular shape with which the Schapper could be installed close to the edge of the door. If the old snapper, which sits close to the edge of the door, is replaced by a new one, the hole for the handle no longer fits!
