Small boats made of wood or GRP are often only weakly recognised or not recognised at all on the radar of other ships. This high-quality tubular radar reflector ensures that your boat appears reliably on the radar screen, even in fog, rain or darkness. Thanks to its sophisticated design, it effectively reflects radar beams and thus significantly increases the probability of detection.
Efficient technology in a compact design
Inside the reflector are aluminium angles (90°), each rotated by 45° and arranged in a robust plastic tube. This special structure creates several reflective surfaces that optimally reflect radar waves, regardless of the direction and position of the boat. This guarantees localisation up to 2.5 nautical miles.
Robust, lightweight and flexible mounting
The clear plastic housing permanently protects the reflector elements from the weather and corrosion. Weighing just 30g, the reflector is particularly light and easy to handle. It is mounted using a stable connection that enables secure attachment to shrouds or stays. This makes the reflector ideal for sailing boats. For optimum performance, vertical mounting as high as possible on the boat is recommended.

Could you please tell me whats the different between these two radar reflectors: Tube Radar Reflector for sail boats - and the other one Professionel Tubular radar reflector? I have a 31 feet sailboat Kind regards Jytte Colling

Dear Jytte, this article -#16555#-got a range up to 2,5 nautical miles. The Other one: -#20704#- got the double diameter and got a range up to 4 nautical miles. Yours SVB-team.
