A kerosene heater had been on the agenda for a long time, and it has now been in use for a week.\r\nMy result: absolutely recommendable.\r\nDetails:\r\nThe enamel and the chrome are flawless, all the mechanical parts run smoothly and meet the requirements their function. As a \"retro fan\" it looks too modern to me, but of course that's a matter of taste.\r\nThe heating output can be regulated better than expected. The heating function for liquids and food advertised on some pages (water, soup, etc. placed on the lamp) is moderate, but that's not important to me.\r\nThe heating works perfectly with (Dutch) petroleum, noiselessly, sootless and without noticeable odor nuisance. Only when warming up (3 - 5 minutes, very lightly) and reheating after extinguishing (approx. 5 minutes, a little stronger) does the smell of petroleum occur.\r\nThe heater itself does not smell of petroleum, the closure after it is turned off seems well thought out and functional. The filling opening is sufficiently large and acceptably placed, the supplied funnel serves its purpose, the lid closes perfectly. The level indicator works well, but is difficult to read.\r\nIt is easy to raise the screen to ignite it. the feeling that the supports on which the parasol is moved up and down are a bit undersized and wobbly is a feeling, they fulfill their purpose perfectly when the parasol is lowered.\r\nThe only drawback that has been identified so far is the (construction-related) susceptibility to wind and drafts.\ r\n
