Unfortunately the UV rays killed the hood here in the Marquesas. But 11/2 years every day in the blazing sun.... The sun has just killed our hood. At first she began to let the rain go, and shortly afterwards she got the first tears. The hood has been used in the tropics for 11/2 years. The hood had rain and mosquitoes and was used 24 hours x 365 Tg. Wind, rare rain and lots of sun have cost her life now. We order again 2, but the new, if installed, will cover with some fabric. This is simply possible and will certainly prolong life. But here in the tropics this is certainly necessary, which here everything goes, really everything from the sun broken.

The hatch sprayhood provides natural ventilation below deck, whatever the weather. It also serves as effective protection against the rain and insects, such as mosquitos. Easy to assemble and install, it works as an oversized dorade box. Ready assembled with integrated frame and zipper.
Made of UV-resistant, PU-coated ripstop polyester. Flame retardant and resistant to decay.
Comes complete with ropes, lashing strap and packing bag.
