For those who care about performance! Sail tell tales facilitate optimum fine tuning of your sails. A set of sail tell tales consists of 4 pairs of red and green woolen yarns, each with a sticking point of self-adhesive canvas.
  1. The sail is properly trimmed when the tell-tales are roughly parallel to one another on both sides.
  2. If you are sailing too close to the wind, the windward tell-tale (red) will point up or strongly move around.
  3. If you are sailing too far from the wind, the leeward tell-tale (green) will point up or strongly move around.
