Wire mesh rusty, hose inside so old rusty stained from old hose ???

The hose is simply loosely wrapped with a white foil. If you cut it, the foil has to be secured with tape, otherwise it wraps itself off. As a barrier layer I would have expected eg an inner layer of aluminum. This version is not very durable.
