DURAMAX is a large, portable fuel tank on wheels!
It has been developed for industrial, commercial and leisure activities, and it's ideal for marine applications. DURAMAX offers a safe, fast and convenient way to refill lawn mowers, boat engines, generators, etc.
Made out of high quality and robust polyethylene, the DURAMAX fuel tank is resistant to corrosion. Its rugged 6" wheels and extra deep handle make it easy to refuel boats with.
The patented gas pump handle allows for easy filling without spillage and prevents overfilling. Position the DURAMAX vertically when refueling engines. It has a flow rate of 7.5 liters per minute in siphon mode.
Two shut-off valves, on both the tank and the hose connection ensure that the tank can easily be shut-off - so that the DURAMAX can be refilled or transported. The DURAMAX has a capacity of 53 liters and has a patented "Flo n 'Go" siphon / pump. The unit comes delivered with a 3 metre long hose. Dimensions: (WxHxD): Approx. 39 x 84 x 32 cm.
Note
If the tanker is located below the tank filler neck, pumping must be continuous. The flow rate is then approx. 3 litres per minute, depending on the number of pump strokes.
Initially a bit skeptical, but was unjustified. Extremely stable and thick-walled tank. The only drawback is the rubberized union nut at the hose connection to the tank. When tightened by hand, the rubber has loosely turned further. Here a molded plastic part would be much more useful as knurled or star grip screws. Otherwise, but fully satisfied.
Generally speaking, the idea is okay. Negative points 1. Unfortunately, a clamp at the bottom of the tank is missing because the hose comes off very easily. But it can be fixed easily 2. the rollers are connected to one another via a rod. However, these block after 3-4x use. Sure, because it is cheaper plastic and not made for driving over somewhat coarser ground. 3. the hand pump is extremely annoying after 3-4 minutes. It takes 10-15 minutes to get the full content out. But then you also have hand pain at first. All in all, not really well thought out. Well, the price isn't very high either, so you don't have to expect anything. For people who really want to transport larger quantities more often and don't want to torment themselves when filling, I recommend a Cemo trolley with an e-pump
overall, the system works well, but the tank can never be pumped completely empty, so that four to five liters always remain in it. After two uses and exposure to the sun, the plastic warps so that the axle and thus the rollers no longer rotate. Too bad - I would have expected more in the end.
