Use biocidal products with care. Always read the label and product information prior to use.
Highly effective hard antifouling for sailing and motor yachts. Suitable for drying moorings. COASTAL provides good performance in coastal and inland waters for all boats up to 70 knots. The paint can be applied up to 6 months before launching your boat into the water. Use with SEAJET Thinner A.

Application instructions

Technical data
  • Application temperature: +5° C to +35° C
  • Drying time at 15 °C: 25 min (dust dry)
  • Overcoating time at 15 °C: min. 9 hours
For coated surfaces:
  • In good condition: Remove fouling, impurities and paint residues completely and then sand wet with 100 grit sandpaper. If existing antifouling is not compatible or unknown, seal with SEAJET 011 Primer.
  • In poor condition: Remove all existing antifouling completely. Wet sand or chemcially remove antifouling with an antifouling remover. Do not dry sand or burn off old antifouling. Make sure that the surface is dry and free from impurities such as salt, grease or oil. Degrease again if necessary. Apply two coats and an extra coat on edges that are more exposed, the waterline, rudder blade and stern drive.
GRP/Bare Gelcoat/Steel: Make sure the surface is clean, dry, dust-free and in a generally good condition. Then prime the surface with SEAJET 011 to ensure good adhesion. Then apply two coats of COASTAL.

Use biocides safely. Always read the label and the product information before using.
