Of course, it should be cheaper, but everything is OK with the volume.

The vest makes a good quality impression. It can be worn very well. Nothing protrudes in the neck area, as with other vests. We do not miss a river. The closure is great.

Good quality I have owned this vest for over 3 years and am convinced of the quality and comfort. I wear the vest when fishing in Norway in all weathers. The Wester didn't even mind a continuous rain of 6 hours. In retrospect, my fear that it would trigger at some point during the heavy rain was unnecessary. The vest is barely noticeable and sits comfortably. I've never missed a padded collar either. I decided on this model at the time because the DLRG, for example, also uses this model. Last year I had the vest serviced by the manufacturer because it should be serviced every 2 years. The complete maintenance cost approx. EUR 60 including shipping. I would buy this product again.

Robust life jacket, ideal as a starter model for yacht and cruise sailing, deep sea sailing (blue water) and on motor ships (blue water). Its sporty design in red/blue is striking. The life jacket provides maximum buoyancy in the 275 N class.

Buoyancy / CO2 cartridge / body weight:

280 N / 56 g / 50 kg and up.

Float System:

Float in fluorescent orange, inside protective cover, flap for emergency light. Buoyancy type: automatic inflation system 3001S.

Standard equipment:

Click buckle, integrated harness, flap for SOLAS light, 3M® reflective stripes, recovery harness, whistle, crotch strap, pocket for storage.

Colour:

Red / White.

Recommended additional equipment:

3-point lifeline, CO2 replacement dock (56 g cartridge), crotch strap 2K, life jacket SOLAS light, automatic lock 3001S.

Area of use / brief description:

Yacht and cruise sailing, deep sea sailing (blue water), motor ship (blue water). Robust starter model in a sporty design with maximum buoyancy in the 275 N class. Although, the ARKONA 275 is classified as being in the 275 N class, it adds another 5 N, resulting in 280 N.

Comfort and mobility	The life jacket fits snugly and does not impede the wearer in any way.
On and off	The life jacket can be slipped on and off easily thanks to the front buckle. Simply put it on like any regular jacket and securely close it by means of the patented SECUMAR click buckle.
Maintenance	The floating body and protective cover can be easily separated; thus, the protective cover can be replaced if needed.
