Product details

The unit consists of a deck floodlight and masthead light combined in one robust housing and is approved for ships up to 20 metres. It has a range of 3 nautical miles (motorboats). Features Hella 'Free Form' reflector technology. This technology results in significantly lower stray/flare light and an optimum beam pattern.

The plastic side flaps allow easy mounting on any mast profile. All metal parts stainless steel. The housing is anti-magnetic and seawater-proof. It has a snap-lock cover for easy bulb replacement.

Bulbs (12 V/55 W & 12 V/25 W BAY15d) included.

old style lamp. no led.
super simple design, thats good, but difficult to disassembly. flood lamp square style difficult to change to adequate LED because of shape. Really not using - to bulky.

Quality can be improved
I was forced to replace the original lamp with an identical model due to the breakage of all four brackets holding the lamp to the tree. The plastic of the brackets was practically cooked by the elements, mainly the sun, and I had the white version.
I should add that I was forced to modify the lamp to operate the two lights from a single three-wire electrical cable, the one coming out of the tree.

Is it possible to install and LED replacement bulbs instead of the H3 (12V/55W) bulb? Any upgrade options for this deck flood light?

HELLAMARINE does not offer H3 LED replacement bulbs, we don't have them in our range either, but I saw in the www that they are available. If you order one, you have to make sure that the back of the bulb has roughly the same depth as the filament H3 bulbs. Otherwise you run the risk of not being able to get the housing together completely and watertight.
