Product details

The water temperature of a boiler is determined by the cooling water temperature of the motor, the 230 V heating element, or the heating element's thermostat setting. It is entirely possible for extremely hot water temperatures to be reached. To avoid burns or thermal loading/overloading of the water hoses at the taps, a thermostatic mixing valve installed directly at the boiler outlet is highly recommended.

Whilst replacing my Quick Nautic 40 water boiler I decided to upgrade to a thermostatic control. Fitting was mostly straight forward. However, the tee take off for the cold supply fouled with the cold pressure valve and needed a small modification to work.

Finally, do not burn your fingers when washing your hands! The mixing valve takes 1-2 seconds to keep the water temperature constant, then it works great. The connection is actually simple, but tee and drain valve collided on my Sigmar Marine boiler, the result was tinkering. The connection with tow and Fermit or with Teflon tape would be better and safer to solve with seals. In the order everything was necessary-top.
