Product details

This Side Power / Sleipner SE80T bow thruster set has been specially developed to improve the manoeuvrability of boats in maritime water sports and to enable precise steering in narrow harbours or in difficult conditions such as strong winds or currents. With a thrust of 80 kg at 10.5 V and up to 96 kg at 12 V, this bow thruster is suitable for boats with a length of 10 to 15 metres.

The compact design of the SE80T allows it to be installed in a tunnel with a diameter of 185 mm, making it ideal for boats of this size. The 4.4 kW electric motor operates at a voltage of 12 V and ensures efficient performance with low energy consumption. Totalling 20 kg in weight, the system has little impact on the balance and performance of the boat.

An outstanding feature of the SE80T is the Intelligent Power Control (IPC) system, which increases reliability and safety by permanently monitoring the relay function and switching it off automatically in the event of malfunctions. The bow thruster also has a sealed gearbox with a durable mechanical seal, in which polished ceramic and carbon surfaces form the only moving sealing surfaces. This design ensures maximum reliability and durability.

The twin-propeller design of the SE80T ensures high efficiency and its compact shape allows easy integration into narrow boat bow areas. The 5-blade propeller with asymmetrical profile reduces the noise level during operation and enables a thrust gain of around 5 %.
