Product details

Stern thrusters are installed on ships below the waterline at right angles to the actual direction of travel. They are designed to make manoeuvring easier by reducing turning circles and making it possible to navigate sideways. Stern thrusters simplify docking and casting off manoeuvres in bad weather conditions. Some of today's motor yachts have also installed a stern thruster in addition to a bow thruster to enable traversing (lateral movement of a ship). SIDE-POWER stern thrusters come boxed with assembly kit and connection cable.

Affordable and powerful bow thruster

The product works perfectly and thanks to the good installation and operating instructions, even experienced laymen can install it. We are excited to see how it performs in the narrow Danish harbors when on vacation. Our 10.30m long boat can get into every little corner of a harbor thanks to its draft of just 1.30m and it is easier with the turning aid.

Very cleanly processed, easy to install

The BS is very well made, the instructions are good.
We were amazed at the good effect; previously a 3 kw BA was installed in a 160 tunnel. The new one has at least the same effect at 2.4 kW in the 140 tunnel.
