Product details

Stainless steel V4A, resistant to seawater and corrosion. Short-linked, according to DIN 766, suitable for use on windlasses. Available in lengths up to 100 metres. The 4 mm chain is particularly suitable for railing passages. Price per metre.

Note on DIN or ISO standard anchor chains
For 6, 8 and 13 mm chains the DIN766 and ISO dimensions are the same. For 10 mm chains, however, the pitch "t" is different. In accordance with DIN the pitch is 28 mm, in accordance with ISO 30 mm. This difference may seem slight, but can lead to problems especially with precision machined gypsies: The first 5-6 chain links will run through well, but then the chain will jam. Therefore special attention should be paid to the chain and gypsy when buying.

The welding of the links is not well finished and has on most of the links an excess of cutting metal. To eliminate with a file by hand ...

44mm-2x13mm = 18mm !!!! Good product be careful that a 16mm shackle axis don \ 't pass through! It makes for the galva chain product10049. Good product but attention impossible to pass the axis of a shackle of 16mm while it works for the galva chain 10049.
