Dimensional accuracy
I attached the part to the railing immediately after receiving it. Unfortunately, the Pelican hook is difficult to close as soon as there is some tension on it. There may be play in the hinge.

split ring failed
Very dissapointed in these, the split ring holding in the lock failed and the thing is useless now.
