1A for so little money! Since I have already sunk several items of equipment at rough seas in the North Sea, I had big problems to get me a glass for over 1000 €. This binoculars is great and it is enough, I had never wanted a more expensive one on the way. I have everything from Zeiss and can therefore judge the quality.

The SEATEC TARGET binoculars were specifically designed for maritime use on board. They are characterized by their water-repellent, durable rubber coating and nitrogen-filled chamber. Their nitrogen filled chamber maintains the binoculars' internal pressure, thus preventing the ingress of water or condensation. The unit's fully coated optics provides a sharp, high-contrast image, even in poor weather conditions. Individual focusing allows the adjustment of individual diopter settings. A very good glass for the day

The marine glass has very good optical properties (clear view without distortions at the edges). The digital compass works exactly and is easy to read in daylight. The compass has unfortunately no lighting, so the glass for night trips is only very conditionally usable. For this reason, the glass was returned to SVB and I bought a Fujinon.
