Hi. I am looking for the "German Tenax" as fitted by VW /Audi. It is to replace a failed Tenax fastener on a Golf Cabriolet tonneau cover. Could you kindly confirm the basic measurements of your product including the tolerance for the thickness of the fabric. Also can you supply them in black however this is not important as I will be replacing both. Any help and advice would be much appreciated and should you require photographs I can forward these to you Kind regards Nick Forster

Nick I can not measure one at the moment however I believe that the Tenax sold by SVB are the original standard fastening as used on many cars for 40 years plus (Triumph Spitfire, Lotus Elan, E-Type, etc) I would be surprised if VW did not use the generic item (they might have od course).

The base washer diameter is 20mm. The top 19.56mm. I hope that this helps. Philip
