Note on washing kapok cushions: Water will not damage the kapok fibres per se, but machine washing in particular does subject the fibres to mechanical stress, which can result in them breaking. For this reason, machine washing should be avoided. Stains should be washed out by hand. In contrast to cushions with grain chaff fillings, kapok pillows must NOT be heated. Please only wash these cushions by hand.
