This versatile TRUDESIGN Aquavalve® diverting valve is suitable for bulkhead mounting. It gives you the option to divert treated or untreated sewage into a holding tank or directly overboard, when circumstances allow. The 2-way valve is made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon plastic and features high strength and stability, with very low weight. It is designed for ambient temperatures from -40°C to +110°C. Suitable for bulkhead thicknesses of up to 15 mm. An extension pack allows installation in bulkheads of up to 37 mm.

Attention, only mount above the waterline!

We have installed the valve as an additional shut-off valve (an outlet with blind plug) just behind the toilet below the waterline, as the on-board diffuser is difficult to reach. After a few months, the valve began to leak. As TruDesign told us about our complaint, the valve should only be installed above the waterline to minimize salt deposits. As a closure valve we were recommended instead a ball valve.
