Stable and easy to attach
There is a metal pipe inside. This makes the part stiff and stable. Even a stubborn Vetus waste water hose can pull and tug at it. The outlet at the top has a kind of pressure relief valve in it. It is supposed to act as a check valve, but in fact it acts as a blocker that only gives way when there is real pressure. I took it out because it goes against the purpose of a ventilation gooseneck.

Can these also be used for the exhaust cooling water before entering the exhaust elbow? The idea is to remove the valve and lead a hose way above the water level.
