Es passt von der Größe her nicht für mein Tablet! Ich musste es Verlängern. Trotzdem so viele Sterne, weil das Prinzip und die Qualität hervorragend ist. Für größere Tablets als Rohling sehr zu empfehlen!

Nutze es an der Halterung für ein iPad. Der Sitz auf dem Dach der Kajüte ist auch bei Seegang (mit iPad) bombenfest, die Konstuktion insgesamt sehr stabil. Der Preis ist schon hoch, aus meiner Sicht aber gerechtfertigt .

The RAM-B-166-202U consists of a 3.3" suction cup twist lock base, STANDARD length double socket arm and round base adapter that contains the universal AMPs hole pattern. The mount is designed with a RAM 1" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this allowing for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles. The suction cup base is designed to have a strong hold on glass and non-porous plastic surfaces, including RAM adhesive disks. The hole pattern found on the round base adapter will connect to most RAM cradles and 3rd party cradles.

Die Verstellmöglichkeiten des Befestigungsfusses sind sehr gut und die Fixierung mit nur einer Feststellschraube gefällt. Hat auch eine stabile und gute Qualität.

Leichte Montage, stramme Feder, die das IPad gut fixiert. Leider ist das bei SVB angebotene IPad Case zu dick, so dass es in diese Halterung nicht passt.

Die Halterung ist wahrscheinlich wegen des Heavy Duty Gehäuses nicht ganz so gut bei mir angekommen, da es doch sehr langwierig ist, bis alles eingepackt, gut lesbar geputzt ist (Duty Gehäuse verschlechtert die Sicht auf das Display bei nicht klarer Glasfläche des iPads) und dann in der Halterung ist.

Irgendwie ist die Aufbauanleitung nicht ganz einfach zu verstehen und das Gerät löst nicht das Problem der Befestigung an irgendeiner Bordwand. Da ist es fast genauso kompliziert selber etwas zu entwerfen und anzupassen.
