Product details

USB dual-power socket with mounting plate, integrated voltage regulator and blue LED. For charging electronic devices via USB that also require a high charging current. Connections: 1x USB-C and 1xUSB-A.
The USB dual socket is suitable for 12 volt cigarette lighter, the output voltage is 5 volts at 3.6 amps. The dual socket is mounted with hexagon nuts (optionally available), the installation Ø is 28 mm for a panel thickness up to 14 mm and 36 mm for a panel thickness over 14 mm. Dimensions of the mounting plate (LxWxH): 60 x 45 x 2.2 mm. Cable connection approx. 150 mm, pre-assembled. Panel thickness: 2-16 mm.

The socket is easy to install, neatly processed and loads quickly. It would be even better if the socket could only be installed by cable lug, then you could replace an existing cigarette lighter socket in 2 minutes

Unfortunately not as described

The product is in order from the manufacturer and also correctly described. In contrast to the enclosed operating instructions and the print on the socket (see photo), an error has occurred in the description on the part of SVB. There are definitely no two times 3.6A at the outputs, but only one time 3.6A at both ports together! 3.6A corresponds to exactly 18W at 5V. Ie. This performance corresponds to the current Apple USB chargers that are included with newer pads, for example. It should therefore be possible to load two such devices at the two ports in parallel. If you try that, the device switches off - exactly as described in the operating instructions.
