Product details

This 6 blade propeller for bow thrusters has been developed by vetus in cooperation with MARIN (Maritime Research Institute Netherlands). The efficiency of the thruster has been hydro.dynamically optimised Due to the very special and unique profile of the propeller, an extremely low cavitation is reached, resulting in a very low noise level. Power consumption is also reduced up to 10%. Best suited for retrofitting to existing vetus bow thrusters.
