This 6 blade propeller for bow thrusters has been developed by vetus in cooperation with MARIN (Maritime Research Institute Netherlands). The efficiency of the thruster has been hydrodynamically optimised. Due to the very special and unique profile of the propeller, an extremely low cavitation is reached, resulting in a very low noise level. Power consumption is also reduced up to 10%. Spare part for existing vetus bow thrusters. Several sizes available.

Vetus 6-blade propeller
I converted my BS and HS from 3-blade to 6-blade propellers. Significantly less noise and even thrust on both sides. It was really worth it.
