Nice bench for small boat
I like the bench, it is exactly what i was looking for. Good quality also comfortable and it works perfect.
Only bad side is, that hinges are weak, if two persons lean on back support, hinges dont support the weight exactly.

I chose this bench for my boat building project. It fits perfectly thanks to the slanted backrest.
The base is apparently a polyamide board with threaded bushings for the stainless steel hinges embedded in it. The seat and backrest upholstery is still quite tight. I think it will feel a little different in the summer. The seams and piping are very neatly finished. Overall a very satisfactory product.

How long does the Vetus First Class Double Seat #70405# last in good condition on an open deck of the boat where it is exposed to sunshine and rain? What kind of damage comes first? Does the cushion get wet? Do temperatures below 0 or even below -20 degrees C damage the seat?
