More safety on board! The tackRite boom brake from Sailology uses various degrees of frictional resistance to optimally reduce boom swing during sailing and to avoid jibing. Easy installation with the help of a shackle on the boom eye. The rope can be connected in different ways with the boom brake, whereby different braking forces are achieved. The rope is connected to the foot rail or cleats on deck. Ropes with a diameter of 10 - 12 mm are needed. In addition, a block can be installed on one of the cleats, or on deck. As a result, the rope can be extended to the cockpit, thus ensuring better control of the line's tension. Shackles, ropes and blocks are not included.

What's the recommend boat size? Would it fit a 53 feet boat? 6,5 meter boom?
