I made a leash to scoop up water - when I wanted to pull the bucket up again, the handle was down the bucket was gone - not stable enough for such purposes!

During first use, handle broke off and bucket fell into water
That was a flop, in the truest sense of the word. Once filled with water and lifted with some momentum and immediately the handle has torn on one side of its attachment and the bucket in a bow fell into the Baltic Sea. Not repairable - there the plastic is now torn. The silicone bucket is clearly much better. Unfortunately a bit heavier.
