ZIPWAKE's V-shaped interceptors offer an advanced solution for boat owners seeking precise control over their boat's trim. These specially developed interceptors are designed for central mounting on the keel and are ideal for boats with twin drives or twin screw tunnels. Thanks to their unique V-shape, they adapt perfectly to the hull and ensure an efficient increase in performance.

Optimal adaptation to different hull shapes
The V-shaped interceptors are available in four models covering deadrise angles from 11 to 24 degrees. This variety enables precise adaptation to different boat designs and ensures effective trim control. The central placement on the keel maximises the leverage effect and improves the stability and handling of the boat.

Fast response time for dynamic trim control
An outstanding feature of the ZIPWAKE interceptors is their fast action time. With a lifting speed of 20 mm/s and a stroke of 30 mm, they react at least five times faster than conventional trim tabs. This fast response enables almost immediate adjustment of the boat's trim, which enhances ride comfort and optimises fuel consumption.

Tough construction for maritime use
The interceptors are made of durable materials and designed for demanding use in a maritime environment. They are waterproof to IP68 to a depth of 5 metres and resistant to corrosion. The integrated, calibration-free electric servo drive ensures reliable and low-maintenance operation.

Easy installation and integration
ZIPWAKE's V-shaped interceptors have an integrated mounting plate and offer flexible cable routing options, either concealed behind the interceptor or above the waterline. This sophisticated design facilitates installation and enables seamless integration into existing boat structures.

Technical specifications
The interceptors are designed for boats with speeds of up to 60 knots and operate with a supply voltage of 12 to 32 V DC. The maximum power consumption is 25 W, and the operating temperature range is between 0° and +40°C. With a weight of around 3.2 to 3.5 kg, depending on the model, they offer a tough yet lightweight solution for trim control.
