Description
The Dehler 18 Rotkäppchen is a compact 5.5 m long and 2.5 m wide GRP sailing boat with a lifting keel and classic daysailer character, which can be easily transported on a trailer and also allows sporty sailing with its agile handling. Top features include the open, easy-to-use cabin, fold-out backrest in the cockpit for a relaxed ride and the option to pick up speed quickly with a gennaker. The boat has a solid construction and is more stable than many later variants of a similar class and offers enough space for days on the water. Compared to the newer Varianta 18 from the same shipyard tradition, the Rotkäppchen tends to be more robust in the hull and easier to trailer with a lifting keel, while the Varianta 18 offers more modern, advanced interior and rigging details. The Dehler 18 Rotkäppchen combines compact size with sporty sailing characteristics for beginners and experienced sailors alike.
