Description
The Dufour 39 Frers from Dufour Yachts s.a., built between 1982 and 1994, is a legendary sailing boat that combines performance, stability and aesthetics at the highest level. The Dufour 39 Frers sailboat impresses with its 11.70 m length, 3.80 m width and a distinctive, deep keel, which enables excellent upwind characteristics. The sail area of around 80 m² allows speeds of up to 8.5 knots. Top features include the sporty lines of an IOR regatta boat combined with a luxurious three-cabin layout for up to eight people. Favourite features are the ergonomic cockpit, high course stability in heavy weather and the solid GRP hull construction. Compared to the later Dufour 38 Classic, the Dufour 39 Frers has a much sportier sea performance, while later models were optimised more for charter comfort.
