Description
The Dufour 40 Performance from Dufour Yachts combines performance and comfort in a sporty sailing yacht. The functional interior with 2-3 cabins, bright saloon, galley and wet room offers enough space for family, crew or friends on weekend cruises, coastal excursions or longer trips. Built between 2000 and 2013, the yacht measures 12.32 metres in length, 3.90 metres in width and has a draught of approx. 2.10 metres. She reacts lively under sail, but remains stable and safe, even in stronger winds. Under engine she can reach around 6-7 knots, under sail 6-8 knots, depending on wind strength and course. The well-organised cockpit, practical deck layout and comfortable interior make for a versatile and enjoyable sailing experience. Particularly appreciated as a balanced cruiser, the Dufour 40 Performance impresses with its solid handling, good construction and generous space below deck. Compared to smaller sailing yachts, it offers more comfort, greater stability and sportier sailing, making it ideal for both relaxed and ambitious cruises.

Dufour 40 Performance We've been sailing our Dufour 40 for nine years now, first in the Netherlands, then for a season in the Baltic Sea, and now for the fifth year in the Mediterranean. Since we live on board for about six months of the year and feel very comfortable there, we believe this boat is perfect for us. She's fast, comfortable, and very well-balanced in her sailing performance. The comfort level for two people is also very pleasant.
