Description
The Elan 431 is a 12.98 metre sailing yacht designed by J&J Design and positioned as a comfort-oriented cruising yacht. It is powered by sails and is supported by an inboard engine with a classic shaft system as an auxiliary engine for harbour manoeuvres. The hull is designed as a round bilge with a single spade rudder and fin keel. The cockpit offers long benches and sufficient space for cruising with a crew. Below deck, the Elan 431 was mostly built as a 3-cabin version. It has a forward berth and two aft cabins, supplemented by saloon berths, galley, navigation table and wet room. The interior is classic and designed for longer stays. Compared to the Elan 43, the Elan 431 offers a modernised room layout with a similar basic design. This makes the Elan 431 suitable for longer cruises with family or charter crew.
