Description
The Elan 362 is a 10.94 metre sailing yacht from J&J Design's Performance line and is based on the Elan 36 in terms of design. It is propelled by sails and supported by an inboard engine as an auxiliary motor for harbour manoeuvres. The hull is designed with a single spade rudder and fin keel, often as a lead keel, and is tuned for sporty sailing characteristics. The cockpit is designed for active sailing with a small crew. Below deck, the Elan 362 was preferably built as a 2-cabin version, with a spacious aft cabin and enlarged wet room. A 3-cabin version was still available. The interior is of a higher quality than the basic model and includes a revised interior and details in the deck design. Compared to the Elan 36, the Elan 362 is more consistently focussed on performance and higher equipment quality. The Elan 362 is therefore aimed at sporty cruising sailors who want more comfort.
