Description
The Elan 45 is a 13.7 metre sailing yacht from J&J Design and is positioned as a classic cruiser. It is propelled by sails and supported by an inboard with saildrive as an auxiliary engine for harbour manoeuvres. The hull is designed as a round bilge with a single spade rudder and fin keel. The cockpit offers long benches and is designed for comfortable cruising with a crew. Below deck, the Elan 45 was mostly built as a 3- or 4-cabin version, supplemented by a spacious saloon, galley, navigation table and wet room. The interior is traditional and designed for longer stays. Compared to the Elan 43, the Elan 45 offers more length and interior volume with a similar conceptual orientation. The Elan 45 is therefore suitable as a spacious cruising yacht for longer trips with crew or family.
