Description
The Elan 210 is a 6.6 metre sailing yacht with a sporty hull, twin rudder system and T-shaped lifting keel. The boat is powered by sails. The auxiliary engine is usually a built-in engine in the shaft or an integrated drive system; a classic outboard motor at the stern is less common. The lifting keel enables variable draughts and makes the yacht trailerable. The two rudder blades ensure controlled manoeuvrability even when heeling. The cockpit is designed for active sailing with a small crew. Below deck there is a forward berth and two additional berths in the saloon area, creating up to four sleeping berths in a compact camping layout. Compared to the larger Elan 310, the Elan 210 is significantly lighter, designed for trailerability and more focussed on sporty sailing. This makes the Elan 210 suitable for ambitious sailors and weekend cruises.
