Description
The Elan Impression 40 is an 11.99 metre sailing yacht from the Impression series by Elan Yachts, designed by Rob Humphreys and conceived for comfort-oriented cruising. It has a fin keel with bulb and fractional sloop rigging, which enables stable, balanced sailing characteristics and controlled handling. Below deck, the Elan Impression 40 typically offers three cabins and two heads, often with separate shower areas, as well as a bright, functionally designed saloon with plenty of natural light and usable space. On the engine side, a diesel engine with around 40-50 hp is usually installed. The cockpit is comfortably designed and offers sufficient freedom of movement as well as easy operation, even with a small crew. Compared to the Elan Impression 394, the Elan Impression 40 offers slightly more interior volume, larger cabins and additional storage space, which makes longer journeys more pleasant. This makes the Elan Impression 40 a versatile sailing yacht for family and crew, combining performance and comfort.
