Description
The Hanse 400 is a sailing yacht from HanseYachts AG with a length of 12.23 metres and is designed for efficient deck handling when cruising. Features include the 9/10 rig, the large single steering wheel and a deck organisation with short distances to winches, halyards and sheets. Depending on the version, a self-tacking jib is possible, which facilitates turning manoeuvres with a small crew. Below deck there is a saloon with a fixed seating area, a galley, two or three cabins and storage space for provisions and equipment. There are two draught options to choose from: the deep keel at 1.98 metres or the shallow keel at 1.65 metres. Compared to the Hanse 400e, the Hanse 400 differs primarily in its construction, as the 400e is designed as an epoxy resin construction. The Hanse 400 is therefore aimed at crews looking for spaciousness and clear steering in this size class.
