Description
The Hanse 508 is a 15.55 metre long and 4.75 metre wide sailing yacht from HanseYachts AG. The hull follows a classic, slim bow shape without a scow-bow concept. The construction consists of a GRP sandwich with a vinylester barrier in the outer layer. Typical features are the twin steering wheels, the fractional rig and a deck layout with aft-facing halyards and sheets for operation with a small crew. Other features include large hull windows, a wide bathing platform and variable cabin layouts with several heads compartments. Below deck, different layout options are available for owner or charter concepts. Compared to the newer Hanse 510, the Hanse 508 is narrower and follows a more classic hull design, while the Hanse 510 offers more volume in the foredeck with a wider bow.
