Description

The Hallberg-Rassy 44 is a 14.45 metre long centre cockpit yacht with an internal passageway to the aft cabin. The hull was designed by Germán Frers and combines a fin keel with a free-standing spade rudder. The Hallberg-Rassy 44 is steered via a large central steering wheel in the protected cockpit. Features include wide side decks, fixed handrails and a clear deck structure for safe manoeuvring on board. Below deck, the Hallberg-Rassy 44 offers an owner's cabin in the stern, a separate shower room and storage space for longer voyages. Large superstructure windows and hull windows bring daylight into the saloon. Compared to the Hallberg-Rassy 43, the Hallberg-Rassy 44 uses a wider stern and offers more interior volume, but remains true to the centre cockpit concept. The Hallberg-Rassy 44 is suitable for sailors planning longer ocean voyages who prefer sheltered steering and an interior-orientated layout with a small crew.
