Description
The Hallberg-Rassy 400 is a sailing yacht from the Swedish shipyard Hallberg-Rassy with a length of 13.06 metres. Unlike many of the shipyard's larger models, it is not a centre cockpit yacht, but has an aft cockpit with a steering position at the stern. The Hallberg-Rassy 400 is steered using two steering wheels rather than a single central wheel. The aft cockpit eliminates the need for an internal passageway to the aft cabin. The layout allows different cabin variants in the stern, including two aft cabins. The hull has a modern design and utilises a wide stern, an integrated bowsprit and a twin rudder system. Large hull windows bring daylight into the interior. Compared to the Hallberg-Rassy 40 C, the Hallberg-Rassy 400 follows a different basic concept with an aft cockpit instead of a centre cockpit. The Hallberg-Rassy 400 is suitable for sailors for whom direct access to the cockpit and variable aft cabin layouts are important.
