Description
The Malö 40 is a 12.35 metre cruising yacht with a centre cockpit that was built from 1972 to 2017. The hull is designed as a displacement hull and optimised for stable running characteristics on longer trips. Below deck, the boat has an aft cabin, a saloon with seating area and a forward cabin. The galley is permanently integrated and is complemented by a wet room with WC and shower. The steering position is sheltered in the cockpit area and is designed for longer passages in different weather conditions. Typical features are the solid construction, plenty of storage space and a clear layout for longer stays on board. Compared to the smaller Malö 36, the 40 offers more interior space, larger tanks and a greater range. The Malö 40 is aimed at sailors looking for a cruising yacht for longer voyages and offshore use.
