Description
The Dufour 24 is a compact French cruiser from Dufour Yachts, designed by Michel Dufour and built in the mid-1970s. She measures 7.35 metres in length overall, 2.50 metres in width and has a draught of approx. 1.16 metres with a standard keel, making her equally suitable for coastal and inland areas. The fibreglass-reinforced hull, fractional-sloop rigging and fin keel ensure balanced sailing characteristics and stable manoeuvrability. With a sail area of approx. 20 m² and a hull speed of around 5.9 knots, she combines easy handling with solid performance. The interior design offers space for up to four people and a functional galley despite its compact dimensions. Compared to larger models such as the Dufour 2800, the Dufour 24 is easier to handle, cheaper to trailer and ideal for weekend or coastal cruises.
